    To be fair you'd have said that about the team before Flitcroft took over and we went on that run. It's amazing what difference another manager can make to a team. I think for whatever reason Flitcroft didnt get the best out of players, im sure we'll see an improvement.

    Largely agree with that watcher. It's an improved squad on last year. A squad we were all very excited about. The players haven't turned $hit overnight. Flicker just lost his head, and systematically dismantled everything good that he'd built.

    But the u21s aren't playing today so you are guessing at what Southgate would do and deciding he would go with what you think. Understand?

    For the first time since Robins left we have a manager I trust to be competent enough to do the right thing. To be able to objectively look at the strengths or weaknesses of all the players we have and select them on mérit. And no more shopping in the bargain bins of ex Rochdale discontinued stock will also be a bonus.

    Yes ...he got a look in when the rest were injured..and was subbed at half time(no reflection on his performance TBF)but I meant actually being considered the England keeper
