He would hav spent the entire 96/97 season arguing that wilkinson/hendrie/Thompson were too old and marcelle/bullock didnt deserve a game because they wouldn't track back and toil, whilst the likes of Regis/van der velden/ten heuval/hirst should be playing every week

I'd rather give Digby a go but we should be looking to bring someone in during the next window as Etuhu and Dawson are ***** too.

just out of interest, now you don't have a manager to whinge about incessantly, are you just going to focus solely on the players? or will it be players for a bit, then back to manager and players if he doesn't pick the ones you like?

any possibility of just a few words of support at all? just maybe one or two. perhaps a whinging sabbatical?

Dawson will be better wi Danny... He'll not laik him on fecking wing!

I still rate Dawson, think he offers a hell lot more that Perkins or Etuhu. Dawson has been **** this season, but most of time he was used as a winger.

Hes not played on the wing though as he, he might have played wide midfield but not on the Wing.

If they do something worthy of praise then praise they will receive.

However, I have nothing positive to say about a CM with no goals, no assists and who hasn't put a tackle in.

    My opinion.

Dawson has been on wing too. And is wide midfield not same as wing? Confused.

    absolute nonsense.

perkins, etuhu and mellis dominated almost every midfield under flicker last season. etuhu was colossal and almost every visiting team talked about how they wish they had perkins in their team. mellis was wreaking havoc creating chances for fun, and dawson was one of our stronger midfielders, until he got injured/suspended.

flicker completely ****** that up, by switching to 4-4-2 and totally wrecking our balance as a middle 3

these are all still very good players, played in the right positions.

I'm not talking about Mellis though. He is one of our best players. I'm talking about the toilers who have been feeble this term.

Serious question - what has Perkins contributed so far the season?
