    There's a few thousand who don't understand what he's contributed this season but as long as you and David 'bottom of the league' flitcroft see something then you must be right. Afterall old flicker was doing a cracking job

    very little conan. i agree. but back to my point, he's never been a midfielder in a middle 2. he needs to be part of a three. same with etuhu, same with dawson, same with mellis. hence the total fcukin car crash of a midfield, playing mellis and dawson as wingers, dropping etuhu and leaving perkins totally ineffective, playing along the likes of david fox.

    so many people said this at day 1, when the warning signs were there in pre-season. we just do not have the players for a middle 4. clearly obvious. it cost flicker his job, left us rooted to the bottom of the table, wrecked the confidence of everyone involved and turned fans against the players in the process.

    flicker ****** up our midfield. no one else. and i'm rather miffed about it!

    Hes a battler and gets in and nicks the ball.

    That was the same thing with Flicker. I think he thought that playing just wide of the centre circle was playing on the wing.

    maybe that's it? maybe flicker was just fcukin $hit with distances? yeah chrissy, just go play just wide of the centre circle....yeah peds, just go play wide of the centre circle....yeah mells, just go play just wide of the centre circle....yeah daws, just go play just wide of the centre circle....

    I can buy the dislike for Perkins (I disagree a bit) but why the love for AnonyMellis? He's gifted but I don't think we've had a player drift aimlessly through so many games since..er... Matt Done*.

    * - I'm not saying they have similar footballing ability, like.

    Just say 'runs about alot, sideways', the surging runs forward he made end of last season have been few this season
