So just got payed from my new job, the first one iI have had since I moved here. I work at Congressional Country Club, number 50 in USAs best golf courses. Should I buy, Kindle fire HD Ipad Galaxy Surface Or does anyone have a better option THANKS COYR Great result today
iPads are too expensive tbh compared to the other tablets for a very similar experience. I have galaxy tab, but having seen the nexus 7 as SR said above, that would get my vote too.
We love the ipad in this house. We splashed out on one and then I won one on the Fantasy League thingy a couple of weeks later. My missus reckoned we should have flogged the second one, but as it turned out we could really do with another two to stop the fighting over them! My three year old is such a dab hand on it. He's going to grow up totally unfazed by technology. He's learned his alphabet off it and all sorts. I was gobsmacked when, a couple of weeks after his second birthday, he picked up the ipad, turned one of his games on and entered his name in it. It can give you a short attention span though, as you're constantly messing with it. Me and the missus will sit watching telly, her on facebook and me playing flick kick football!
I started one of these threads a couple of weeks ago and got the same contrasting views. In the end I went with the I pad simply because I have an Iphone through work and the wife is upgrading to one next year. Added to that Curry's dropped the price in the last week and I got a 64GB mini for £279. The Nexus 7 looked the best andriod tablet although a few people at work were praising the surface. You being in the states the prices are a lot more competitive aren't they? Is there much price differential between the apple tablets & the android tablets over there?
Most reviews/group-tests generally suggest the current iPad is still the best overall option. If they could only find a way to pack enough into an ipad to enable me to play Football Manager and/or the Total War games on it, I'd never need use a laptop at home again!
There's a limited version of football manager available for the ipad, where you can be Barnsley from 1980-81. It's fab.
'Limited' being the operative word of course, if they could get the full FM or Total War games onto a tablet, I'd be at the front of the queue for one of these (mythical) bad boys.
Theres a big difference between Ipad and surface. Surface been more expensive, But the Kindle fire HDX which is supposed to be like Ipad is much cheaper by $150
