......very expensive and I know we should stay away but Danny's first game made it too tempting. Enthused by his team selection. Nyatanga was really solid. Bobby looked total class in the first half. We were the better side before the break. Tudgay should have scored. (Still can't believe he didn't hit the target) Second half more them but for once we held firm, kept our clean sheet and got a vital point. More than that we got some pride back and some real hope of turning things around. Looking at the games right to the end of Feb we have some vital matches and some real opportunities to get ourselves out of this. There are certainly three worse teams than our team yesterday. Final word for our fans. Brilliant, noisy and totally positive all the way through. I came back with pride and hope and its great to have a proper gaffer. If you can get there for the next two home games over Christmas then get there.
Listened to radio. 2 things. I was as nervous yesterday as the final day last season. Desperate for Danny to get something in his first game. 2nd. Towards the end. The rendition of "one Danny Wilson" had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up.
Me too mate, it sounded fantastic. I'm starting to believe, I can feel positivity coming back. You reds.
Yeah. I can sense the crowd wanting to get behind them. And I can't believe my dad wants to continue the family "all day'er" tradition on boxing day. Absolutely no chance. I can't wait for the match. I'll get blinded afterwards instead.
For large portions of the match, we outsung them. All 30,000 of them. And every time they started 'MOT', they got peppered with 'Jimmy Saville'. I wasn't happy paying £36, but was a one off, and glad I was there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
