    I've always been a sort of lone wolf...............years on my own in a deserted bare house and often living rough in that house over Christmas.............no bed, no heating, no toilet etc etc......... and sometimes the only guy at the mine on 18 hour shift at Christmas (because all the married guys especially with kids didn't want to be there)

    Christmas diners at the pit have consisted of a tin of baked beans cooked in the tin over an open fire

    But one things for sure..........I'VE ALWAYS ENJOYED CHRISTMAS..........because when I wasn't at the pit I made sure that I did.

    ..............Money in my pocket.......then get to the pub with music and the biggest number of fit women in it

    My wife's at work all day on Christmas Day so that people can have emergency dental work. I'm home alone with the dog until about 7pm. I will still enjoy the day and even more the night. Oh and i was out walking the dog before 7, lovely fresh morning and a happy pooch. Merry Christmas..
