Planning on taking our old man to the game tomorrow. Thinking of booking the tickets on the site and picking them up at the box office before the match. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Reason I'm asking is that, i've read on here before that our box office is not always, lets say, the best. I don't fancy going to find some seats with the father and then finding them already taken. Thanks in advance, And merry Christmas to you all.
Yeah I do it often. I have always found them easy to deal with. If you have booked and paidfor your tickets in advance thenit's just a case of collecting an envelope with your name on. Just make sure you have Id and the cardyou booked them on and you will be ok pal
Ah cheers for the replies guys. I was just thinking of buying them through the site today so we could pick our seats. We'll see, anyway. Not looked as forward to going down Oakwell for a long time!
I've done it for tomorrow's match. I normally get them posted, but I left it a bit late this time. I book online rather than pay on the gate as I joined the Trust for the £5 discount. £10 membership, £10 saved on mine and the fella's tickets - no brainer really! (Especially as I've used it far more than once already).
When did you book yours? Do you think it'll be too late to book them now? I was thinking that they will be sending the tickets out to the turnstiles won't they..
It just says that if you book them after 4 working days before the match (if that makes sense), then you need to pick them up from the box office. If they are still online then it's not too late Edited to say that with the discount, that counts for all tickets you buy. So I only need 1 membership to buy cheaper tickets for me and whoever I go with (so far: my husband, my dad and teachers from work). You do have to pay £1.50 booking fee for each ticket online though, so it may just be better to pay on the gate if you don't get the discounted tickets.
Sorry to bump this thread up again, but can anyone explain why I seemingly can't get Derby tickets through the site?
