    No Wiseman. Pathetic defending.

    Perkins had an amazing game.

agree with Redstar on Wiseman but Marlon on Perkins. Both very poor today for me

Both were poor today. Wiseman was turned by the most obvious turn, schoolboy stuff, he generally went missing too. Perkins just doesn't add anything anymore.

Danny's a good manager, he isn't magic. We aren't going to smash teams like Bolton within 9 days of him being appointed. We aren't going to see magical performances from players that have underperformed for most of the season either. We're still gonna see some of the 'same old'.

Today was promising, or at least the first half was, considering the lineup. We're still gonna manage to stay up!

Same players ... same formation (diamond with full backs providing width) .... same result.

The only change was the manager and he failed to find anything new from the players who have not been good enough for the last two managers. In addition, too many of them were carrying injuries, or were simply not fit enough. At the end of the first half, they had blown all their reserves of stamina and were forced to hold on. The problem for Danny is how can he change the playing staff with so little money or time.

I just hope that we keep Danny in spite of what I think will be a hopeless task. We have had too many managers and not enough patience over the last seven years.
