Hope and habit. There is still some enjoyment though, it just feels good when we do summert good, even just a good effort at goal, you get emotions from it that you don't get elsewhere, you've just got to be numb to the crap.

I don't need anything to drive me to Oakwell. My only regret is that I can't get to see the Reds every week. Maybe it's the part-time syndrome - I haven't suffered enough? I can't afford the £100+ day out anymore, on the London Tykes express, so I tie in my visits home with home games. I go on my own, sit on my own, get the bus there and back from my Mam's on my own, I don't drink before a match and rarely after. I pay full price for my ticket, whatever it is.

Yesterday I was a excited as I was when I started going as a nipper in the late 70s. I was in the ground at ten to two, chatted to Matt Bailey for ten minutes and I always say hello to the fella at the west stand bookies, it doesn't bother me he's a Wednesday fan. I've probably seen more BFC games than I have left and we are unlikely to top what I have already seen. There is plenty of time to contemplate so much in the hour before kick off.

Danny losing his first home game back wasn't in the script, but there's a long way to go yet and I saw enough quality yesterday that I think Danny can organise, channel, motivate and get us winning. You Reds!! :D

Saturday is the only day I make proper money most weeks.

Love doing music, but Barnsley FC is my second love & I've been everywhere with the team.

Wherever I go I'm " Barnsley Mark" or just "Barnsley".

Mostly midweek games, player, BBS & youtube for me sadly, but make about 10 games home & away, plus watching the rest on player...

The adrenaline. Even if it doesn't go in, it gets my heart going for the moment.

I actually walked to and from the match from Royston yesterday. Did I enjoy it? Yes, despite the result.

I support our club and I'm proud to do so. Anyone who cares about it, can get to and can afford to get to games should be doing! What's driving me to go to Oakwell? My support for Barnsley Football Club!

If you can't bring yourself to support your team, especially when they've just appointed a new manager, then you can't call yourself a fan.

We're still staying up, bring on Sunday!

Only place to go where I can sit down for a couple of hours without having to keep jumping up.
