I've given up on trying to impress Mrs Burgundy Red's extended family with my fake sobriety tonight and found a pub in Glasgow to get quietly hammered in. But this thread has shown me I'm still playing catch-up in a big way.

I haven't had a drink all Xmas, Neil. It's my own fault, I am old enough. :(

I've been on my best behaviour since I arrived in Scotland last week. But having got out and about tonight I have to say I think I've been missing out. Glasgow seems a fine city and I've decided to put aside the racial slurs I suffered here back in the day and enjoy it.
