Only loans with the current league position, getting players to rediscover their form is more crucial.
In Wilson's first press conference, Mansford said they'd support him during the transfer window, with either loans or permanent signings. Hopefully we'll see a return of Jennings and Noble-Lazarus.
I'm afraid flicker spent what we had. Salary budget, that's your lot. Frees and loans, but players will need to go the other way.
How much have we cut from the wage bill with them 2? 10k? If we can offload a few fringe players we could have 15k a week to play with. Look at getting a quality CM and a LB. Maybe throw 500k in for transfers/loan fees. I am sure there will be some room for Danny to do some business. The Board MUST make it happen.
Again, all conjecture, and none of us know what's actually available. But Danny will have taken the job with eyes wide open, and will have known exactly what was available for the rest of the season, before he signed up. Probably a 'nothing to lose' deal for him. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a survival bonus in the deal. I'd be surprised though, if we had anything like 500k for transfers.
Ways and means. It all depends where someone wants to be with the second decent manager at this level
Agree if we can, for me a LB and CM are paramount though. We need to be choosy where we spend the spare cash. 2 or 3 quality players rather than 4 or 5 mediocre.
Of course it's conjecture, that's all we can do. More thoughts of hope really. I can't see this board wanting a relegation on their cv though in their 1st season after we have survived for 7yrs under Shep and then Don. I am positive there will be something Danny can use and we will see players in. I accept I might be wrong, I will be disappointed if we don't do anything though.
Probably would have to sell all on free transfers.......but the key point is it creates wage opportunities for new players. No surprise that all the players you mention, were signed by the Rochdale Chuckle Brothers.......and yes, add Perkins into that.
