The owner of Cardiff is trying his best to make Cardiff a force for the future.........good luck to the guy Upgrade in logo and hopefully an upgrade in manager is all good news for that club..........its a pity the fans are scum of the earth
Upgrade in logo? Apart from the moral objections to their change I have to argue with the use of the word upgrade. the old one was clean and modern, immediately identifiable as cardiff and also respectful to the past, the new one is cluttered, ignores history, looks more like a wrexham badge to me and looks like it was knocked up using a set of pencils in the 70's. for something so new it looks so dated and horrible already. generic ***** at its worst, it makes bens offerings look world class in comparison
Who really gives a fk about a logo I have watched the reds for 46 years snd I couldn't describe ours Its a non evdnt except for a small minority who sadly do care
Just imagine if we became 'The Blues'. Heaven forbid. Long live 'The Reds'. We don't know how lucky we are.
Erm have I missed something I thought that Cardiff were in the prem for the first time in there history
You two are exactly what's wrong with football. Couldn't give a **** unless you had a rich owner and were in the Premier League.
When did I say that? Ive been to every home game for the last 12 years, pal, and I've had a season ticket for twice as long, don't you tell me I couldn't give a ****. All I said was that the owner pumped a lot of money in to make their club better, they should show him more respect.
Classic case of someone who cannot read and understand , does not engage brain before typing (if rhyhill tyke can) I didn't say it either
Cardiff have historically used the red dragon and yellow daffodil in their logo. http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/Cardiff_City Club logos are a constantly changing subject and I really don't know why fans get upset about this. I can't think of one club that has kept their logo/crest absolutely constant through the years. There probably is one, but I can't recall them. Last point.......having a Malaysian sugar daddy pumping millions into club and getting to the premiership, would not make me happy. As much as I have a dislike for Cardiff fans (the minority who give them a bad reputation), their club has now lost its soul. Are their hooligans now changing their name from the Soul Crew to the Tan Gang?
Woo Tan' Clan... Changing crest? Couldn't give a sloppy *****. Changing colour of strip...? Nay, nay, thrice nay. And what about the berk at Hull, FFS....Barnsley Kestrels, anyone?
I think the Cardiff owner has made a very cute move with the logo As you drive into Wales the country logo and now the club logo is at the side of the road and on their flags - so in effect the club has become the club of ALL of Wales. Hence all the welsh people can associate with the club. Which makes it easier to draw fans from every corner of the country. Ben needs to take note of this (although I think he already has done) when creating a new logo for the TYKES
