    He played poorly

Simple as that. It doesn't stop him being our most skilful player. Are you wanting to score points off me?

he was very poor, no doubt about it, ironic thing is when we took him off was about the time he should have just been coming on, wether he likes it or not he should be used as a impact sub when defenders are tiring

    I'll take the blame

For him having a poor game, it doesn't bother me one iota.

He had a poor game again. He's a very frustrating player in the sense that he has moments of sheer genius, followed by 80 minutes of very little else.

He still provided the only decent cross we put in the box all game long.

And then people cheer when he's subbed off, what a great confidence booster that must have been for him.

If ur gunna start him, stick him on the wing like Celtic used to then put etuhu in the middle like he's used to. Saying all that, the guys living off one wonder goal v an average boro side. We cannot afford to play a luxury like McCourt in our position I'm afraid....

He needs movement around him to be effective you can't expect him to take the team on he needs options.

Didn't play well. However, best two moves of the game involved Paddy. Beat a man, 30 yard cross field ball to O'Brien who came inside and passed back to Paddy, who then ****** the shot up. And, beat a man got to the byline and drilled over a cross, but as usual, no one there. Well, no, best move of the game for us was Cywka's run, but after that.

Much worse players on the field than McCourt even if he didn't play well.

Agreed, he's a quality player but not the sort of player we need. If we can get some money for him, we should get shut in January!

Much worse players on the field who enjoyed 20 yards of free space. Mccourt had 3 players in him at all times.

Im not excusing his lack of application, but he is by ni means the worst.

Yup we don't need quality lets stick with the last 2 years theory and get players that either haven't a clue or just run about a lot. Keith feckin Hill has got a lot to answer for

It was all Paddy's fault, he should have been playing right back for their first and left back for their second.

A player like Paddy needs better players around him. I hate to think what would have happened if he had been playing for Derby.

What do you expect? Their defenders didnt have to tackle him, they just stood and watched him go nowhere and beat himself. .

    It's all Paddy's fault

The last thing we need is a skilful footballer!:D The more the experts and intelligentsia on here criticise him, the more I'll praise him.:D

When he has options he doesn't use them. We don't expect him to take the team on, he mistakenly thinks he can though.

That can be spun around though. I don't think anyone is claiming to be an expert or intelligentsia, just giving opinion. I presume from your stance that you are saying that you're opinion is the expert one on this?

He has the option to pass loads of times just before he loses it trying to run through players.

I take your point though, he'd probably only be passing it to someone else to lose it. God we're ****.
