Not at all. Barely mentioned it, puts it all down to experience. You won't find many Dale fans saying he's perfect, but nor is he the worst manager ever and deserving of this criticism a year down the line. I can see exactly why Flitcroft is deserving of such analysis, but not Hill. Not now.

If you'd appointed anyone other than Flitcroft a year ago, we wouldn't be having this discussion. The link ended when they stopped working together.

 

All I can say is thank god they've gone. A bit of professional Championship mentality is what's needed now. Not Roy of the Rovers. Come on. 2014. We Are Barnsley!

Strongly agree with that from what I've seen, flash in the pan seasons. They've spent their careers in the lower leagues for a reason if they were half decent they'd be playing in better places than Oakwell

Serious question then mate. If that is the case, and given the job he's doing back there now, doesn't that suggest the barrier to success wasn't the manager but the club?

 

The damage done by Hill and Flitcroft is going to take a long time to repair. It's true that Flitcroft has done most of the damage but Hill certainly did his bit too. Good riddance to both of them.
