Ashley Cole is a ***** full back. he cannot defend to save his life.He cannot tackle a good breakfast never mind a player. Today it seems you dont have to be able to tackle or mark a man to be a great player, only be able to run fast ! Not a good indictment of the modern game.
AT LAST!!!!! Thank you, Mark. Someone who agrees with me about Ashley Cole! He cannot cross a ball either, and when he gets into the opposition box, he freezes!
That'll be Sweary Mary from Hemsworth, who back in the day used to go to games with her dad and sit in the east stand lower using the C word at least 50 times per match, usually directed at Dave Watson or Nickey Eaden.
Rule number one is to be aware the danger is there in the first place. Know who is in your space and anticipate the danger. Wiseman's positional awareness and reading of the game has been awful recently and it's cost us two home defeats. Last season it looked like he had improved in this, but now he's gone back to his Keith Hill form.
It may have been in your day, f_t, but I think you'll find that Ponty72, his bro and a few of us who have been following the cricket debacle have found a new nickname for our learn-ed friend.
We will have to make a decision in January. Do we start the clear out or do we wait until the end of the season. Your view on this will depend upon whether you think it is possible to affect our final league position this season, or whether it is already too late and we should save our meager resources until they can actually make a difference. The optimist will say it is not too late, the pessimist that we are already down. I regret that I am pessimistic of our chances of survival because I think that there are just too many players who just are not good enough, and there is too little money which will have to be spread too thinly. You already told me just how little there is left to spend.
*like* I couldn't view it on my device earlier - but I can see it on my laptop screen - you got it right.
Let's not forget, Danny's initial appraisal of the squad was 'not far off at all, and a very good squad'. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Then why didn't they close them down? With both goals Derby had time to cross the ball. Closing down was non existent
And I would say he was. When we got promoted to the prem he was the only player that made the divisional team of the year. None of our current shower would get anywhere near it. Nicky was a great player for our football club and the stick he got from fans at the end was completely unjustified.
The game where Jacob was injured and Vaz ran riot. Hassell played right back, Wisey right wing. He'd be ideal there in my opinion.
Yeah, I remember we used to play Trippier RM and it seemed to work. I don't think Wisey's technically as good as Trippier but he's certainly quick enough - it's another option definitely.
Would love to see him on the wing, with the instruction not to worry about behind him, just run at the opposition and get to that byline. He's capable. Whereas, Kennedy is hopeless.
Both brilliant players. I absolutely loved Fleming he really was quality and Thompson is another great. Eaden's crossing ability just wins it for me.
