Think he'd be a risk for the top end Premier League clubs, the Bundesliga seems a lot like La Liga where apart from an elite few, the rest of the opposition is pretty average. Soldado had a similar record to him yet he has looked sh*te in the Premier League. In the Premier League, 11 points covers the top 7, in Spain and Germany the same points cover the top three.
I think Soldado is class, he was often isolated up front in AVB's system. I reckon if Spurs played 2 up front we'd see the best of him.
Exactly. Very harsh to criticise him when Spurs were playing so negatively. Lewandowski is a class act, but moving to Bayern is not a surprise. He said in the Summer he was going to see out his contract and move to Bayern in the Summer. They might as well get some money for him now though than nothing in 5 months.
I see the Premiership as a second class product, from the pricing down to the standard of the football, not a patch on some of the Continental stuff. just my opinion though. I am sure someone will pop up and tell how fantastic it is soon.
10 goals in 21 games for Spurs, and often isolated upfront on his own (not so much now, under Sherwood).
Doubt it when he can go on a free in the summer; they've wrapped up the domestic league already and he's cup-tied in the 'Big Cup'. Try having your facts right before being condescending.
'where apart from an elite few, the rest of the opposition is pretty average' --so no different from the premier league then ....
