The guy is our best chance of having a half decent side given time.

Last season is gone and now they all have new contracts so is the reason to keep trying for a lot of the crap wearing red just now.

When we can we need to move players out, Danny will have sussed that out from day one.

Those who say he is inept tactically, for gawds sake get a grip. Why is he to blame for defenders who can't or won't defend properly. Why is he to blame for crap full backs who leave their mates to do their job for them.

Yes he can pick alternatives but I think Danny is actually playing a canny game and will boot the crap out when he gets replacements but we have to give him time. Lets see what the team looks like in a months time. No point worrying about relegation now the rot is in, he may save us but we have to be looking long term

The team was crap, it is crap and old Jose the happy one couldnt get them to win a pub league never mind Danny.

Lets stop hitting the gaffer and fire the bullets where they belong which is at the players.

Over paid, bunch of toss, heading for the exit door

    BT

Why did we do well with this lot in the second half of last season?

Shirley a decent manager builds upon what he's got - which can't be a complete shambles having regard to last season - and makes progress?

we're not saying it's fault, we're saying he's made an absolute shocking start! his team selection (apart from against Leeds) has been feckin hideous

He was to blame 100% today.........no question.

Coasting in first half in second gear despite playing one very lost O'Grady up top by his sen, should have stepped it up and killed game.

Instead we ran midfield empty until they were just invisible and Cov started to believe......they were distinctly average and I can tell you the gulf between the Championship and. League 1 is getting bigger......they never looked like troubling our defence all day.

That was until Wilson's refusal to change and freshen up the midfield, diabolical management today!!!! Games are won and loss in midfield......once we lost the midfield our defence was just getting run ragged. May I say Ramage, Craine and. Mvoto (outstanding today) were solid, but one you have a sieve in front of you eventually you will be exploited.

Like I said, one person to blame today and that's the gaffer. Up defendable I'm afraid

I'm sorry I thought it was Danny who.....

    1) Went defensive with Dawson/Perkins in the same team that Flicker always got slated for.
    2) Played one up front against a lower league team.
    3) Continues to play the worst left back since Paul Gibbs.
    4) Kept our creative midfielder as an unused sub.
    5) Continues to play the same guys who got the previous manager sacked instead of giving others like Nyatanga, McNulty, Jennings etc a chance.

We have a squad that could have won today had the correct tactics/personel happened.

Sorry fella but not seen much different to the Flicker days at Oakwell so far and folk are just saying what they have seen happen today. Or is Danny above criticism.

If these players were as good playing football as they are getting the managers the sack they would be in the Premier league

Honestly thought Jennings would start today, fit and playing well on loan and a cup game against supposed inferior side. May as well let him stay at MK.

There are so many things wrong with the players and formation. But Danny isn't spotting it and Mellon seems to be adding no value whatsoever.

Ignoring daft Judas comments, do those criticising Wilson think we made the wrong decision? Someone else, more experienced? A better candidate? Stuck with Flicker? We need to get behind Danny, we KNOW he is a good manager, if not spectacular since leaving us still very decent, the players are crap, he needs time and a chance to bring in his own, probably in summer, probably for league one.

I'm ignoring the judas comments. It's juvenile and unhelpful. But there's no denying that danny appears to have failed to spot the blindingly obvious . We haven't even had the 'manager bounce' that most teams have. It just totally feels like more of the same, to me. A couple of chinks at Leeds and Birmingham. But beyond that, i've seen very little change from life under Flicker.

I can only go by what i've seen, but i'm completely underwhelmed so far, and gradually resigning myself to life in League 1

Very little in the way of options in the squad.

I do think the idea of playing with one forward up front was a big error but replacing O'Grady with a player who can't hold on to the ball at all was mistake number two.Hope for a number of personal changes soon......
