I hate bringing it up, but **** it I am.

What a ****ing laughable decision that's turned out to be.

We'd have never used the word 'relegation' again.

    What a ****ing ****-up.

So a reduced budget wouldn't have effected Robins? Whilst ignoring the fact Robins said that he didn't think he could progress the club with that reduced budget

Best manager we've had for years. Knew how to grind a result out.

He didn't want to be at oakwell.

Shocking Football, if anyone thought today was bad thats what it was like away every game under him.
Reading and Sheffield United come to mind. Reading away is the worst 90 minutes of Football ive seen.

He said that he wanted to time to consider his position as he felt a reduction in budget would make it difficult to continue to progress (which given we'd been garbage since Hammill left was probably true). Then the club chose not to let him take that time. Wrongly and unfairly in my view. But IMO we would have struggled under Robins, or anyone else, given our relative budget that following season.

Sorry phil. But we actually got results under him. Unbeaten against Sheffield United under MR I believe.

Absolute crap. He wanted to be a success. And by success I don't mean finishing 4th bottom.

Can't have been worse than today

He wanted to consider new targets as he had several lined up.

Still, all academic now. The owner got what he wanted. As it is his right to do.

I suppose the story we got from the board depended on which manager it wanted to undermine at the time

Didnt want to endure another season under Robins. Was thinking about giving up my ST before he left.

Always seems to have a poor second half of season too

In fairness to Robins (and I was no fan of watching the ball being lumped 8 foot over Gray's head) we had a poor second half of the season because we sold Hammill which wasn't his fault (or the board's to be fair)

Certainly played the worst away football of any manager I can remember.

Really? Plenty of points away from home under him. Batterings of Ipswich, Plymouth and Preston spring to mind.
