    Mmmmmmm... again

There are substitutions. Then there are the 2 worst substitutions EVER.

The analysis of the merit of substitutions is generally full of hindsight.

There seems to be a challenge in understanding however how you can say our new manager - the right man for the job - makes the 2 worst substitutions ever.

Who might be the wrong man for the job?

Sounds like anyone can have a go.

I reckon HT ought to be allowed

He can only break the record for the worst subs ever - and that takes 125+ years to do!!!!

I don't understand that MOTM award at all. About all he did all afternoon was wave to his people in the legends suite and blank the fans.

Someone you rate can make a bad mistake. And it's a bad mistake in my opinion, as I said in the title of the thread it's 'for me' not a fact. Not really 125 years of football either, I'm old but not that old and I haven't seen all the games in the last 30 years anyway.

If you want to turn my rant after becoming angry at a poor performance in to a massive dig at our manager, feel free. I'll leave you to it as I'm going out.

    Re: disagree with you fella

Think you've hit the nail on the head for me there with regard to Micky Mellon.

Reading the back page of the Chron it seemed to me that Nicky was sending out a 'Come and get me plea' to the powers that be at Oakwell and I thought he made a pertinent point when he commented about the lack of local lads involved in the First team.

I'd have liked someone up there with him, rather than a swap (I don't know how I would have achieved that, I'm no good with tactics). Time and time again I wondered why O'Grady bothered to jump for headers, as everytime he won them, he could only head it to one of their players anyway as our were nowhere to be seen. He'd have been better letting them head it and trying to intercept it.

Said the same; the game was lost once O'Grady went off, every ball forward came straight back.

Crazy decision to swap Pederson for O'Grady. Despite his frame Pederson is a poacher, he can't hold the ball up. If we aren't going to play up top then we should send him back

Worst ever can't find seat after half time trip to the loo.
    Me.
Couldn't find it for ages. Up and down the gangway I went. Hopelessly looking for who I was sitting with, and trying to look casual, and not like a daft sod. That'll teach me to venture to the Upper tier.

Fair comments I don't remember Danny ever being great with his subs though he generally had Bullock or Lids to try rather than this current shower.
