Heard today that the reason he was left out is because he's having talks with Blackpool, again.

Just something I heard, but make of that what you will.

He'd be a fool to go there while Ince is there. Terrible boss, and proving so again.

He'd be a bigger fool to stay at Oakwell with half the Ponty baying for his blood every time he puts a foot wrong.

Don't think there's any chance of that!

I'll regret asking this, ...... Why is there no chance?

But again, why is there no chance of us getting promoted?

Not saying we will btw. But..... Under that manager we have reached the playoffs twice and been promoted once in the 3 full seasons he was in charge at L2 level.

I'm completely puzzled, yes Wilson got us promoted, but he didn't get us in the playoffs

I don't think EastStander realised he was speaking to a Rochdale fan. If you read back what he wrote and imagine he was addressing a fellow Barnsley fan then his comment becomes self-explanatory.

I dunt get why a fan of a club would go on another club's forum, it's just weird and sad in my eyes.

Because I genuinely wanted you to succeed with the multitude of connections between the two clubs. Was I sad turning up at Burnley and Huddersfield to support you last season too?

Back to Wiseman, he needs a move.

It'll be a sad day when we choose the people we want to associate with solely on the football team they support.

It's difficult for Barnsley fans to talk to a Dale fan at the moment. In reality, we're the villains of the piece, we came in and poached your manager and your coach, and it's not like it was a one off, we've got previous having done exactly the same thing a decade earlier (why didn't we learn?). However, a lot of us can't help but feel that Keith Hill and David Flitcroft have ****** our club beyond repair. Yes, the second half of last season was magnificent, but we're now left with a squad of players that's just making us despair. And we paid good money for them too. We continue to pay them good money in wages. It doesn't help that from the minute the final whistle blew on Keith's first game in charge he bad mouthed our town, our club, our history and our fans. To be fair, Flitcroft did no such thing, but the whole era really has left a bad taste in the mouth.

Nowt 'weird' or 'sad' about a football fan going on a football forum. It's always good to get a different perspective. At work tomorrow I might even talk to some Owls, Blades and Millers about our respective clubs too!! Radical.

I enjoy fans of other clubs on here. The Rochdale connection is a little painful for us at the minute as we have the page boys at Hill and Flitcrodt's weddings 'playing' for us but still it's good to have another view.
