I can't get to the bottom of this signing a key me explain why:-

@. He's played over 200 games at Championship level
    @. He's an established International
@. He can play at centre half or left back
@. He would settle into BFC very quickly, having played here on loan previously

So to see he's started just one game since signing, set against our current left back who is absolutely diabolical, is an absolute travesty.

If it is injury or poor form, Flicker has to take 100% of the blame here. Why sign him if one or both of these factors are true?

I simply don't get this at all. How the **** did Nyatanga get through our recruitment process?

Even more so given that he had a decent game against Leeds.

I thought I had read he couldn't walk for 2 days after the leeds game...

So whilst he might be fit he can't be completely ready. But then you can only get that extra fitness when played.

God knows. But a stiff and cramped to **** Nyatanga has to be better at left back than TK

I had it confirmed last night (because I too couldn't get my head around it) that Nyatanga wasn't fit enough to play against Bolton on Boxing Day, but since then he's been fit and Kennedy has been Danny's preferred choice at left back. Seriously.

    And yes, it's worrying.

I think I may not bother going while ever Kennedy gets a game, its that bad. I don't need the hassle of driving even 10 miles to watch that idiot, and I don't care if that makes me a "bad" fan or not, because the majority of Barnsley fans don't go to every home game either.

I am a big Danny fan and i've wanted him back every change since Bassett, correct that to extatic to have him back and expect him to pull us round, but there are some questions that need answering quickly.

Right now, I find myself returning back to the same recurring question - how much influence is Micky Mellon still having?

I think while ever he is at the club then not enough is going to change. We need a coach there who is not influenced by past mistakes or past decisions they feel they need to defend. Many of these players Mellon will think of as "his" and will be reluctant to criticise. We need new coaching staff who can look with a cold, unbias eye and deliver some harsh realities.

Wakeyred, it's getting to me mate, just like it is you.

Every single time I read TK on the team sheet I'm asking myself the question, why?

I've not felty this negative towards a REDS player in a very long time.......he really is that bad.

I see it, massive majority of REDS fans see it, commentary team(s) see it, opposition fans see it.........our current manager and coaches do not see it.

    BAFFLED.

is that a joke? he looked out of his depth, scarier than M'Voto in possession. only reason he's not playing is because the 2 centre backs in front of him are better than him (and that's not saying much!)

This is worrying me. How can we be on our third manager who are all picking the same players that aren't producing anything, and ignoring others who look promising? Something's not right.

Who is he ignoring? Other than him preferring Kennedy (of late) to Nyatanga, he's hardly ignoring anyone is he?

The kids - RNL, Digby, Rose - are injured. Paddy has played, as has Mellis (centrally), as has Cywka and Pedersen. He's dropped Wisey.

He's not exactly flush with options.
