Are you expecting this to happen in January? If so you might be in for a shock

There is no way a club gets rid of half a dozen players in a transfer window like Jan........to get rid you have to have takers........even if only loan.....you are hoping lower league teams will pay 100%......they won't!!! So I'm not sure just how much wages we can free up to ring in quality.

Also what quality is out there that would come to a bottom of table club in out predicament?

I don't doubt there is Prem players and top end Champ players out of favour itching for football.....but......and it's a big but......can we afford the wages and tempt them to come to Well for rest of season? Aarron McClean wasn't exactly mad on the idea and he's done nowt at Brum.

I'm afraid it will be a few more loans like Brek........no match fitness and a gamble.

Failing that play Jennings (match fit) RNL (match fit) Nyatanga (match fit) and mix team up.

Desperate for a striker......the goals from Cog, Peds and Jason have dried up totally due to one thing or another. We need a whippet up front

i agree. the better players are notoriously unavailable in january, and relatively little business happens. plus our players are $hit and no one will want them. plus we haven't got any money to spend. we might get one or two come in, that's it. shrek will also be back at stoke at the end of the window.

we're pretty stuck with what we have, i suspect

Yeah not gonna be great........like you say Jan window is a very poker faced slow market........only players we will get are ones that haven't kicked a ball in anger all season......and just hope they can do it

the thing is, the usual will happen. when we don't sign half a dozen championship quality players in january, people will start jumping up and down and hurling blame at Ben & Co. i'm personally not expecting for a minute, the wholesale changes that lots of people seem to be hoping for

i think we're in real trouble

After 7 years? Battling against drop we are going down this year should we fail to beat Charlton.....it is for me literally that pivotal a game

I've already resigned myself to. League 1 and a fresh start.....not my usual style......I'm normally stupidly optimistic till bitter end.......however experience tells me this is the season we drop out......Nah if we had would maybe one game and got another draw I wouldn't be as down.....but two draws and two defeats just hasn't given me hope.......I guess that Cov defeat sealed it for me

What's happened to Danny Rose, I would guess his goals per game is better than either Scotland or Pederson.

If we had half a dozen John stones' you could bet the board would flog the lot in January.

In fact I normally hate January for that reason. We generally get shafted.

I await to see if the 'new regime' is the same.

I'm not expecting much incoming just hoping we can get rid of a few. Danny Rose has the best goal scoring record at the club so when he's fit I hope he gets sone proper game tine.

There isn't a new regime. Just a new package to it

Bring back Nardiello out of favour at Rotherham even though he was scoring for fun and now he's doing it a Bury.

    I know that.

It would then prove beyond all doubt to the ones who believe we actually have a "board"

I would put Daggers back in. Good work rate and attacks goal. COG plays off him

Totally......indeed it was Daggers graft and determination in that leeds game that spurred on the team.

    Gerrrim back in

Me too. He seems to bring out the best in COG and if we need COG firing if we want even a faint chance of staying up.
