according to this from the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25623289 they have not done any work on the drainage system for 16 - 17 years.... surely they had time is the premiesr league in that time, how come a bit of cash was not spent then on the drainage system. Its disgraceful. They should be deducted 10 points and the said ten points be given to their next league opponents.... now who would that be ? hmmm
Just a bit of local input (as I live about 5-6 miles away from Charlton) We've had a lot of rain even though it's been quite quick showers but torrential when it's fallen. If their drainage system doesn't work and it's therefore just natural drainage of the grass, going by the condition of local parks and gardens, I'm struggling to see how they'll get a game completed. Its currently sunny but more heavy rain forecast tonight and tomorrow before getting drier from the middle of the week. Might not be the worst thing for it to be cancelled and give Danny longer on the training ground which is badly needed
yer probably right Wayne.. They could give us 20 points right now and I would still fear the drop with the shower of ***** we call players just now.
