It could have been a good thing for the England team because now they can change things. Cook got a team that had just gone from one to two in the world. Then won in India and he couldn't really change a lot.

Theres a lot of good players around at 24 and under that could be playing or England in 10 years time. Root ballence Robson Mills Finn Borthwick Stokes Bairstow and a lot of others.

First of all, tell me a leg spinner at 24 that didn't. Warne went for 150 when he first started and hes very open about that and how you need to give leg spinners time.

KP batted for the team. Hes an aggressive player.
He normally fields on the boundary because hes quite quick and hes not the greatest short medium range catcher. Not sure if it was the ashes of 05 a a couple of home series after that but he dropped quite a lot of in the circle and hes admitted in the past it's 50/50 if he catches the ball.

Sport is littered with people who were potentially good as youngsters, most are now selling insurance. Hopefully the cricketers you mention make it but its not the guarentee you appear to believe it is
