A 17 year old lad In a position we have covered With no first team experience Sounds like to me he'll be one we sign on a permanent deal for a nominal fee as one for the future. Can't see the harm personally.
He's 16 actually, not 17 until June. http://www.mcfc.co.uk/under-18-players/midfielders/dominic-mchale
Hes not even played the majority. Two have only just come back to the club. This best not be true. Wingers aren't what we need.
We need every positioning strengthening. I wouldn't complain if he signed a RB, CH, LB, RW, LW, CM or striker.
Thats not realistic though Matthew. He'll max bring in 4 players more in my opinion. January Transfer window surely isn't the time for major changes. No pre season games.... Ones got to be a left back for the reason it goes from Kennedy to George Smith as out and out left backs. We need at least one striker and maybe if possible send Pedersen back.
I think he is one for the future TBH here is a link to what Danny sez about him http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/mchale-one-for-the-future-wilson-1331094.aspx from that I glean he is a future prospect.
we seem to have sured the defense up a bit. 2 of the last 3 goals we have conceded were by mistakes by JOB. the other was a from a foul by Cranie, who most on here wouldn't replace anyway. I would replace Kennedy if we could though, but think its obvious DW isn't in a rush to do so
do you think we are now preparing for league one? I think we can still stay up and with 2 games in hand over one or two in the bottom, and the fact we play one or two of them also, still means we have it very much in our own hands. But you cannot help but "read between the lines " a little and wonder if we are putting in contingencies for the worst case scenario.
