Brian Clough, growing up I had a soft spot for Nottingham Forest because of Cloughy, Stephen Hendry apart from Ronnie I can't think of anyone better at the snooker table Present day Cristiano Ronaldo (best in the world imo), AP McCoy and Yaya Toure
Mine has to be Brazilian Ronaldo I was 10 years old when I remember watching him in 98 world cup, the guy was magic and has a great scoring record throughout his career. He had everything a complete striker! Zidane - “He’s the best player I’ve played with and against.” Kaka - “Ronaldo is second only to Pele.” Pato - “Ronaldo is the greatest ever, Ronaldo is the only phenomenon.” C.Ronaldo - “Ronaldo is my idol, I want to be like Ronaldo.” Ibrahimovic - “Ronaldo is my childhood idol, I asked my friends to call me Ronaldo when playing on the streets, he’s the best EVER.” Neymar – “Ronaldo is the best ever.” Ronaldinho - “Ronaldo is my idol, He’s the best player.” Fabio Capello - “Ronaldo is the greatest player I’ve ever coached.” Messi - “Ronaldo was my hero my idol when I was a kid, I learned a lot from him, he’s the best player I’ve ever seen and the day I met him in Brazil I took that memory with me!!! Maradona - “Ronaldo is the Master of football.” Pele “Can’t compare Ronaldo to anyone, he’s the BEST.” Balotelli – “If you introduce me to Ronaldo, I swear I’ll behave until I give up playing football. Ronaldo was the greatest so one word from him is worth is worth more than a thousand of all the others.”
Ian Botham Viv Richards Ronnie Glavin Paul Gascoigne Zico John McInroe Ivan Lendl Bjorn Borg Freddie Flintoff Phil Taylor Marvin Hagler Frank Bruno
Paul scholes. Not sure if there is a better midfielder. More importantly, his attitude is exemplary in an industry riddled with greed and repulsive behaviour.
Re: Good lad Who's your back 4 behind them? Not sure Farah has the physicality to be the holding man, but I reckon Lewis would be handy behind the forwards.
Re: Good lad One of the greatest motor racing drivers ever...Scotlands Jim Clark. Wakefield Trinity and Great Britain stand off half David Topliss...the most elusive runner I've ever seen in either code at any time.
Greg Lemond as a teenager when well into my cycling Dalglish was my favourite footballer Barry Sheene was my other favourite but that was due to the old man loving his bikes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mike The Bike - undoubtedly the best rider I've seen on the Isle of Man T.T. course. The 1967 Senior T.T. when he went toe to toe with Ago one of the best races I've ever seen.
Hailwood was the greatest ever motorbike racer, no matter what the bike, he could win on it, that Honda 500 was an evil handling machine, but Mike rode around the problems. I was too young to go to the TT then, but I went to lots of short circuit races from the late 60`s onwards. i watched some fantastic riders and herad some beautiful noises coming from the exhausts of the Honda 6`s and MV 3`s and 4`s, then came the screaming 2 strokes .
Socrates (fat) Ronaldo Emil Hallfredsson The list of footballers I love is 10 miles long. Outside that, Michael Jordan or Roger Federer
Alf tupper... Ran in plimsolls and some posh bugger in spikes always managed to spike him mid race..he always came from the back to win and rounded it off with fish and chips out of a newspaper.... Glory days Hotshot famish was my favourite
I think mine would be quite interesting to you Tomi. I'd have to go for Kimi Raikkonen and Mika Hakkinen. In terms of football, I think Steven Gerrard. Probably one of the best midfielders I will ever see in my life time.
Zidane. Maybe it was because 98 was the first World Cup I watched & he was the star of it but I just loved watching him play. He made everything look effortless. For someone so tall his feet were unbelievable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
