because theres lot of other players who should be leaving too. If the amount of players leave that I think could leave then there's got to be a few in.
i really do hope there's a wholesale clear out. i'd just be very surprised if there was. i wonder if the strategy is keeping us up, or building for a return next season?
Wiseman is one that might be snapped up. He isn't the best defender, but he has improved. **** all chance of getting rid of Etuhu, M'Voto, Dawson, Jennings or everyone's favourite Kennedy, given that they would be dropping down 1 or 2 divisions & their wages would be the stumbling block. We are stuck with Ramage while the end of the season too.
Well if hes to go then surely it'll be Wiseman Etuhu Pedersen McCourt McNulty Dagnall Jones Maybe another midfielder.
Who's gonna buy any of them? Someone might pick up McCourt, but we wouldn't profit & he can at least kick a football.
Sick of this McCourt bashing after a couple of bad games where the whole team was just as bad. Absolutely pathetic considering not 3 games ago everyone was buzzing about him. If you want your team to contain only skilled players that play consistently well go and support fecking Real Madrid.
Could be the wine talking but I still reckon there's a place for Wiseman in a Barnsley team with a bit of confidence behind it. He's been a scapegoat that seems to get grief even when he's had a solid game, as a right back who can bomb forward I'm not sure we can expect much better at this moment in time.
How often does he "bomb" forward? Last time I can remember was MK Dons in the cup last year...... And Alan Smith getting sent off
It's not a couple of bad games it's a lot of bad games really. Hes not done much and we can not carry players and certainly not him.
Balls to bombing down the wing, I want fullbacks who can fulfil their primary objective which is to play an integral part in stopping the opposition scoring. Something he has failed to do on a regular basis since day one.
Wasting your words pal. Not wasting any more of mine on this particular subject. Educating pork springs to mind.
Well said it truly is pathetic these attacks on the only player it's been worth paying to see at Oakwell this season. He has fulfilled his role as mercurial playmaker to the letter. Shame we can't say the same about the rest of our midfield.
Why don't you save us all a lot of time hemmsy and point us to all the other threads you have been involved with this line of argument. I'm willing to bet there is at least ten since the start of December
That doesn't even make sense. At the end of the day he's a match winner. Our squad only contains 3 other match winners in ogrady, mellis and cywka. Unfortunately they're just as inconsistent as eachother, if they wernt they'd be playing in the premier league. In our posistion we need as many match winners in the squad as possible so when one loses form the other can step in. I have no doubt that each of them players will help win us points during the rest of the season. Its crucial we keep them all.
I don't think it's time for Scott to go. He's shown he can play in this league. Give him half a season with Danny and see what happens. Unless of course, Danny's seen enough already. Paddy's a player, he's got a future at Oakwell.
