    We (Dundee United) are apparently leading the way to sign Brentford striker Farid El Alagui.

    Can I ask you guys what you think of him. TBH I've never heard of him.

    For us to be thinking of signing anyone only means one thing. Players are moving out. :(

    Apparently he had played for Falkirk previously. Surely only a reserve or bit part player at Brentford. TBH I wouldn't be expecting much.

    Worrying times for us at Tannadice ATM. Roberto Martinez personally made the visit on Sunday and lodged a 750k bid for Andy Robertson which is as we speak still rammed up his arse. Rumour going about is Everton told come back with double the offer and the answer will be the same. It does look inevitable that he is the one to move but hopefully for realistic money. We do have a habit of selling on the cheap.

    The Scots Premier league , signing a player from the 3rd tier of English football. Ian I hope you have unearthed a diamond, but this will not improve the opinion on here of many of Scottish football. Personally having spent a long time at RAF Kinloss I have been to quite a lot of Scottish league and Highland league... and have been well entertained on most occasions... Forres Mechanics were my regular Saturday when I was up there.

    Cheers Dragon. And I've never had the privilege of seeing Forres Mechanics.

    TBH I couldn't care less what some think of Scottish Football. We all have opinions and if someone has a low opinion, so be it.

    In some cases that low opinion I'll admit is justified. Not a lot I can do about it I'm afraid.

    We in Scotland have a game totally run by the Old Firm who take as much out of the game as possible and all the other clubs are left picking at the leftovers.

    Sickening really but that is the way it is. The sooner SKY get the Old Firm into the English game the better for the rest of us here.

    He says he takes back what he said about Barnsley finishing second to celtic, because after they played so crap against Coventry, they would not beat Stranraer, (my Scottish team)

    No mate , he came home to Barnsley on friday, then to Oakwell on saturday.
    That will teach him :p
    His girlfriend is coming down here in february, so i will make sure she gets to Oakwell, if she is going to be part of the family, she had better get used to the misery !!;)
