The best deal for us to scrap it and start again, mate.

    1. Nothing confirmed yet.
    2. We don't know what Danny's plans are... this may well just be the start of things taking shape today/ this week/ month.
    3. Have you considered he might be bringing a loan player because he wants to take a look at one of our own younger players at RWB, but can't because he is currently injured?
    4. Didn't take long to go full throttle on anti DW, did it? It's his FIRST piece of business.

If Wiseman was good enough as a Championship player wouldn't it have been a Championship side that came in for him?

As far as I am concerned, if we can lose several other players on free transfers to free up some money for better quality signings then I'm all for it.

The problem with your argument really is that based on the number of goals Wiseman has cost us, we're lucky we didn't have to pay someone to take him.

Outside of the premiership nearly every 'transfer' is a free agent joining a new club. Don't worry about it, the Liverpool lad will likely extend his loan here until May & then in the summer we'll pick up one of the many out if contract right backs who'll be looking for a new contract.

We're saving 25 weeks of a players salary who isn't going to feature in the managers plans.

In which case, in the summer he'd leave on a Bosman and we get nothing and have forked out those wages.

So if 1,2 or 3k a week, we're saving £25k, £50k or £75k of salaries plus NI'ers and possible game bonuses.

Would be interesting to have a summary of goals that blame could be allocated to a certain player. Forests winner and Boltons recent winner are games where his shocking defending have cost us points.

And if a player has no value, isn't playing and won't re-sign anyway... best to save the wages

What did you think about Adam Hammill, wasn't he a Liverpool youth player.

with wages saved on a £4 k a week we've saved about £150k or thereabouts

which I reckon is about his market value

Apparently the only reasons this "kid" McLaughlin hasn't already appeared in the Liverpool first team are: Johnson, Enrique, Touré, Agger, Coates, Sakho, Cissokho, Skirtl, Kelly & Flanagan. By all accounts he's starring for their U21's & U19's in almost every game. The last player we had who came with a similar reputation was Kieran Trippier and he wasn't too shabby if I remember rightly!
