    No. Savage's hair makes him ripe for everyday piss taking. He chose it.

    Reading the Guardian does not make you gay.
    Being gay does not mean you shouldn't play football.
    Creating an image about someone which is totally incorrect, which affects their life and their family life is wrong.

    Massive difference. The fault lies entirely with macho footballer types who don't know the difference between bullying and a joke. What le Saux endured was not piss taking. It was victimisation.

    I'm going to presume that most of the comments in this thread are being made by cheeky wee scamps who are pretending to be stupid. And then I'm not going to look at this thread any more just in case I'm wrong and they start posting more rubbish. Because I can't believe some of the nonsense that gets posted on here these days and it sometimes makes me ashamed to support the same team as some of them.

    Truth is, it's the ones doing the calling that are likely the most insecure about their sexuality. I remember Le Saux taking all this **** at the time. The Fowler incident was obscene. But where the media then? The Guardian were the only paper to kick off and confront it. MOTD showed Fowler's antics without comment or reprimand. And now these tossers have the TV jobs - Savage, Fowler and even Townsend, who I have a lot of time for and am surprised he was one of them.
