Daniel de Ridder in a friendly versus Wigan was absolutely sensational. I put him in my fantasy football on the back of that performance. Dont think he got me a single point!

Craig Bellamy in two different games, both for Norwich. 98-99 season when he was just 19 and we lost 3-1 and 99-00 when we actually won the game 2-1. Never seen pace like it before or since. He scored in both games, but it was the way he terrorised our defenders that was so impressive.

We went 1-0 up in that first game, but soon Bellamy got hold of the ball and we couldn't cope. Morgan was sent off in the first half and in the second Bellamy ran us ragged.

The next game was even more spectacular. We played Norwich in late April. For 50 minutes we looked every bit the promotion side, dominating the opposition in every area and coasting in to a 2-0 lead. Bellamy had missed the entire season through injury. He'd played his very first game just two days earlier, coming on as a second half substitute. They brought him on with 40 minutes remaining and the game completely changed. Norwich didn't get any better, it was Barnsley v Bellamy. He won 1-0 and we were very lucky to keep it at that. I've seen lots of good players at Oakwell, but they're usually part of a good team who give them good service or provide space for them to pass in to. I've never before or since seen one player dominate our entire team. What makes it even more impressive is that he'd missed 8 months of the season through injury and wasn't even fit enough to start the game.

He's a horrible little **** is Bellamy, but he was a hell of a footballer.

Prosineski for Portsmouth absolutely destroyed us on his own.

Dalian Atkinson for Ipswich Currie scored a couple and he repaid in kind we couldn't live with him in a 3 all draw.

Bellamy playing for Norwich when we beat them 2 -1 I don't remember the year but as he had a good memory for these things assume Jay is right. So fast you could barely see him

Prosinecki (did a thread about it last month). Bergkamp in 1998. Bellamy for Norwich and Newcastle. Darius Henderson whenever he plays, especially for Millwall a couple of years ago. Jermaine Johnson for Wednesday. Liam Lawrence at Stoke. Le Tissier. Bloke who played for Grimsby and Charlton up front, name escapes me.
Ginola was **** against us in the cup until that goal, and Vialli just happened to score a lot but Petrescu, Wise and Poyet killed us.

That's the bloke. Average as ****, but like Henderson he always seemed unplayable against us.

At their place? Think Barnard scored one of his specials that day but Clive scored a couple of pens. Him and Henderson - pair of basterds.

Sorry to do this, but we lost the match 3-2. Currie's debut. Currie actually scored 3, but one was ruled out for offside. Can't remember if Dalian just got two or all three. They were both sensational that day. They'd take turns in doing amazing things. All the other players should have just left the pitch and left them two to it.

Aye I had confused it in my mind with the 3 all when that curly haired toss piece Ian Marshall got them back in it.

    PMSL!!!

I always thought Dean Gorré was exceptional against us for Huddersfield in one particular game at Oakwell. Spanked my monkey when we signed him ;)
