Thanks for the recommendation Huddersfield Red. I am indeed "The Man With The Golden ****" which was the main reason for buying it obviously.

Some good offers here (plug alert) https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Golden-****/153890581302925

Also got The Kaye Arms if anyone is feeling a bit flush http://www.kayearmsgrangemoor.co.uk/

Bulls Head is a bit between the two menu/price-wise, but a bit more of a trek from tarn http://www.bullshead.uk.com/

I also have a nice pub called The Foresters at Honley with a cracking Indian restaurant in part of the building http://pinkelephantrestaurant.co.uk/

I am looking at Jay's ex-favourite pub The Butchers Arms at Hepworth, closed at the moment and needing some TLC, We'll see.

Tim Bilton, who had it, has moved to The Spiced Pear (up the road, used to be Cragrats & The Hepworth). Enterprise Inns couldn't find anyone willing to follow him at The Butchers.
