Only fans that went with the official coaches will receive a refund on travel. Otherwise how do they monitor who has and hasn't made the trip . The club have official tickets given out and names take. Should be all fans but just cannot see it happening
receipts from petrol stations, minibus hire invoices, supporter's club receipts, train tickets. lots of ways. you're right though, they won't
I know what your saying mate I organised a mini bus to Preston a few years ago ( think it was Boxing Day) we even got the taxi company to ring BFC up but they wouldn't do anything Totally agree though this shouldn't be the case
Trouble is its hard proving the petrol etc was for the match and not just a trip to London, I do agree with you by the way.
Why should BFC refund your private travel? Charlton maybe, but it's not the clubs fault the game was called off.
Maybe if you had to show reciept of travel costs plus your ticket? If you was hoping to pay on the day then you'd lose out, but that is just too hard to prove. It should be Charlton reimbursing though, not Barnsley.
You shouldn't need travel reciepts. If you've got a match ticket then common sense says you've gone to charlton
A BFC fan located down South could easily send a ticket and also some petrol receipts that are nothing to do with the match
Charlton will get copies of my train tickets, tube ticket, hotel receipt and BFC will get my ticket back
Aren't all tickets bought from the box office logged on the system along with the name and address of the person who buys them?
You may be right, anyway all fans should be reimbursed we are all agreed, I bet even Charlton fans travelled, they will have fans who travel a fair distance to matches as well.
I am referring to Charlton coughing up by the way, not Barnsley. Barnsley have no blame in this whatsoever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
