It'll have been about 83/84, we were still at school. Myself and a lad called Andy Roberts, who has sadly now passed away. He had the heavy stuff DC, Motorhead etc and I had a bit of UK punk & new wave, Stooges, Ramones, NY Dolls, T-Rex etc - so we used to mix it up a bit. Andy's records always went down better with the bikers. They loved us though, the bikers - double hard they were n'all. My pal Helen calls me P-Dog for some reason. Her Dad is Alan Price from the Animals. I met him, lovely bloke.
