We've got a transfer window to still implement a plan for the rest of the season. Lets get a 6ft 4/5 striker in maybe another tall midfielder (doesn't need to be good on the ball. just someone that will put his foot in like a taller Nathan Doyle) in and say **** it we are just going for points. Performance can come net season. Corners freekicks direct open play and lets get it in the mixer. Steele Cranue Ramage M'Voto Nyatanga O'brien ------ Digby O'shea O'grady --------
Lawrence can be a bugger. Not the biggest but he gets stuck in and can be a right nuisance. I reckon he would slot in next to Digby. Or maybe play 3 in the middle with Bobby just in front of defence.
Bobby's mate Liam Lawrence can bully folk, thee watch Phil. Him and Bobby will sort us. And McLaughlin takes no prisoners. We tried the bullying players thing this season anyway. Trouble is, it was our manager bullying our players. That deserves a LOL. LOL. *I've been drinking
We won't go direct, Phil. We'll mix it up, as we always have done under Danny. But our centre will firm up once the Bobstar is back in action.
We don't have to just go long for 90 minutes with Digby, he can play football like a top 5'10 u19 but he will give us something else and there will not be many teams team leave him without one of there best and tallest defenders because hes massive 6'4/5ish.
We've no chance if staying up playing M'Voto at centre back. O'Grady needs a strike partner though. He's not suited to a lone striker role. He's brilliant at winning 50-50's & laying the ball off to a strike partner but he's had no support since coming back from his injury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With M'Voto I was looking at playing 4 players at the back that are 6ft plus I agree on O'grady. Don't think hes good at playing in a lone 1 up front.
Give up. I'm just thinking of different ways the Reds could line up and play for the rest of the season.
I'm just going to leave this here: Graeme Le Saux has spoke out about the gay slurs he received during his career http://reflectionsasia.wordpress.com...ked-my-career/
Certainly need a 'physical presence' in central midfield. One of the best i've seen in this division is Rohan Ince at Brighton. 6'3" defensive midfielder. Strong in the tackle, excellent in the air. The opposition very rarely walk through Brighton's midfield when he's present. Just signed a new 4 year contract I believe. Very important role and I would give Digby a chance.
