Nobody took it in an arsey fashion, I just asked a genuine question (which you kind of answered). You're fishing there a little bit mate and making it out to be a bit bigger than it was
I care, he can come on here and give his opinion anytime he likes , and in this instance I agree with his opinion.
Agree mate, hes welcome as far as I'm concerned. I find 442s posts well written and interesting tbh. Keefs a lovely person though.
Playing the tie at Oakwell is a daft suggestion. It undermines the basis of league competition. There is more an argument for Charlton to forfeit the tie and the three points, than there is playing their 'home' game at Oakwell. Barmsville!!
I meant my post that mentioned Matthew was a bit arsey, should you choose to look at it as such. But as I say, I was just trying to put it over in a polite way that whilst I like the bloke, and I usually agree with him, in this instance I didn't. And that's that really. But I do have a tendency to make out certain things are a lot bigger than they are..... so fair cop on that.
Don't think they will forfeit the tie. It would probably be played at a neutral venue in London (of course) probably Selhurst Park. Just out of interest, where did they play before they went back to the Valley? My memory is failing he today.
