The true personality of one of Hill and Flitcroft's 'special' human beings is now bubbling to the surface. That statement from Wiseman simply serves to confirm the weakness of his character that many had already suspected or questioned. Lacking class both on the pitch and now off it.
Made the mistake of being w.ank, which also wasn't his fault, but it was the fault of the managers that kept their faith in him. He got them both sacked in the end, just as SM predicted.
Disappointed with how he car across about us, but kinda understandable. Good luck Scott, you'll need it.
Hopefully, very soon, we won't have to talk about him any more. Unless he has a pop at the club, in which case... 'Chopper, sick balls'
Well he certainly got plenty of abuse from the start round where I sit. And he was never as bad as people made out. Not saying he was good enough, but we went through a period where people chose to blame him for goals which were never even on his side of the pitch. All of which isn't my point. He got loads of abuse from sections of our fans. And then we are surprised he didn't enjoy it here? I just don't equate thinking someone isn't very good at football to abusing them. Not for a second saying you are, but plenty have and continue to do so.
Really disappointing comments. I'm not sure what good they'll do anybody - not clever. He'll no doubt get booed by some of our supporters if he ever makes it back to Oakwell.
Absolutely bang on. He strikes me as been mentally weak. Crumbles whenever criticised, compare him to Kennedy who despite been poor on a regular basis keeps plugging away & gives his all without complaining Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I sat in the Ponty End for a rare change against Bolton, and I heard Paddy McCourt get some right stick about being 'useless', 'lazy' etc, only with the odd swear word thrown in. But I don't equate that to abuse. It's been like that forever hasn't it? I'm pretty sure we've all shouted the odd thing at a game. I have. I spent a large portion of games shouting "tha ******* wannk Donovan" over a decade ago. I wouldn't say I'd abused him though. I was just young, and used to drink far too much before a match and at 18 years old I couldn't handle my ale like I can now. These days, it's rare that I say anything derogatory towards a player at the match. Not saying I'm a saint or owt. Anybody who has had the pleasure of my company at Oakwell will know I come out with the odd moan/whinge. I can argue with myself at times. But with my partners son playing football it's made me think on a bit. She actually wishes I didn't slate any footballers on here/twitter, because she knows what it's like to read criticism of her own kid. But she understands I was a football supporter a long time before I grew up, and old habits die hard. I do my best not to slate players as much these days, but to be fair, this 'group of players' have made it a thankless task this season.
Totally agree; what Hill in particular did to Scott was unforgivable. It underlined just how **** and out of his depth Hill was.
Its a massive slap in the face !We gave him a chance at championship level for 2 seasons and that's how he thanks us.i personally thought he was a decent player but now I just think he's a tw*t.Anyway ******** to him ,he wont get a better opportunity at this level.Farewell and good luck Mr league 1.
Really disrespectful comments to a club that's paid him 2 and a half years of good championship wages. Won't be long until the PNE fans see he's not good enough.
Childish and bitter comments but I'd expect nothing less. Measure of the man, really. So spineless he needed time off work just because of a bit of abuse on twitter, lost us several points recently with glaring errors leading to goals. Sithi Scott, you're welcome for all the money, which was paid from the money us fans paid to watch you and your mates destroy our football club.
If he didn't enjoy been at Oakwell okay he didn't enjoy been at Oakwell far enough good luck Scott. Hope he enjoys playing at Preston. Hes a good player and he can move because he doesn't enjoy been at a place. Hes not the first to say it and he will not be the last. With him playing full back he plays near the fans and some of the stuff shouted from the East stand isn't nice. He came from a club that he enjoyed or thats what it seemed to somewhere different. If you aren't enjoying been at a club then your confidence will be down. If your confidence is down it's hard to play at your best.
Absolutely agree narrow backed brittle heart of a pea, not surprised hes had a dig back at us, crying over twitter etc, he'll go down with El Hamouir as the worst full backs in the last decade.
He wa **** anyway, useless on ball and the best thing he did for us was leave. Do tell me if im wrong? Although i do wish him a good send off,
