But we've got to look to the now whitey and not last season. Daggers and Scotland haven't done anything this year and whilst I agree with you on pedersen I feel he can offer us more than the other two. Also if we can bring in a new striker that would be great. Not a clue what daggers and Scotland earn but the two combined might get you a Alfie if the club throw in a couple of grand a week entra
I'd be very surprised if Dagnall and Scotland's wages would cover even half of Le Fondre's. And I would be absolutely shocked if he leaves Reading for us, rather than Middlesbrough who I know are in for him and can afford him. However, I'm more than happy to be shocked, and would be very excited were he to join us this January.
The likes if Boro need to balance there books. Not long ago they were crying about the new rules and how it will affect them and how they are going to after cut.
Reight laiker. Wish we'd had him 5 or 6 years ago. If he goes then all the best to him. Top footballer, top bloke.
Top bloke & a quality player in his prime. I'd be sad to see him go but like the Dagnall decision it makes sense. Wish we'd of got Scotland a couple of seasons earlier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Boro are one of the best run clubs in the country. If you mean the likes of QPR, Forest, Bolton, Birmingham and Leicester, then I'd agree. But I would suggest there aren't many clubs in this division whose books are as balanced as Boro's are.
It was on the bbc site whitey that Boro were complaining about the rules. It was on at a similar time to Barnsley played them. You are right there are a few teams that have the problem.
Always sad to see a top player leave our club whatever the cirumtances but he,ll always be warmly welcomed down at Well, he made a good imresion on us fans in such a short reds career. Good luck, Jason Jason
Pushing it to say well run given that Gibson wrote off 50 million quid owed to him. They do have one of the. Best chairman in the league though.
As big lil said, this is merely a thread were people are thanking big jase for his contribution for us and wishing him well for the future. If you dont want to wish him welll, thats your perrogative , just stay out of the thread instead of turning it into yet another "my opinion is the only thing that matters" thread. Good luck jason jason, if true i hope it works out well for you
Don't know if they are still subsidised by a million a month.... http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/news/latest/0,,1~3117021,00.html
It's only my opinion JC. I think they're one of the best run clubs in England. They have a chairman who is a local and a huge supporter, and especially financially. Of course, without him and Bausor and the debts turned into shares etc, they'd be struggling big time. But then, were Abramovic to walk out of Chelsea, or the Arabs at Man City etc they'd also struggle. Same goes for us, and pretty much 90% of clubs. But the fact is he's there, and their stadium is quality and the training ground at Rockliffe is first class. As is their academy which has made them a lot of money over the years. They'd easily afford Le Fondre was my point though, and I'd expect him to choose them over us if he actually leaves Reading. I just think they'd be one of the last clubs I'd be having a go at in terms of balancing books etc in this division. Anyway, enough about them, people don't like me banging on about Boro/Rochdale/Keith/Flicker/Jacob/blink-182.
Always liked Scotland, just a shame we couldn't have signed him 3 or 4 years prior. Will be fondly remembered.
His goals last year were vital in our survival bid and for that he'll be fondly remembered by me. Despite looking a bit leaner this season he's not really looked like he'll score consistently at any point. However, that might be down to lack of service and our midfield/full backs being hopeless rather than him getting worse. Either way, if he does go, all the best.
Would be a shame as he was one of the culprits who kept us up last season. I like Scotland but i think he's too old to hack it at this level now.
Your first sentence says it would be a shame, which insinuates you'd prefer him to stay. Your second sentence says he's too old to hack it at this level now, which insinuates you'd not have a problem with him being released
