Anyone fancy a few beers and a bite to eat before the Blackburn game?

We've arranged a special offer with the club to take Ronnie Glavin Suite and I thought it might be a nice opportunity for a get together over some football.

ome in from the cold on a tuesday, matchday evening with our special offer for Trust Season Ticket Holders. Upon redemption of their Season Ticket matchday voucher, members can enjoy the following at our match with Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday 28th January for just £24: Complimentary South Stand car parking
    Stadium Tour of Oakwell
    Matchday programme
    Pre-match hot meal
    Team Sheets
Reserved seat for the game (either in the Ronnie Glavin Suite or in the East Stand Upper tier on the centre line)
    Betting facilities
    Cash bar
Opportunity to listen to the Man of the Match interview after the game in the Legends Suite
    - See more at: http://bfcst.org.uk/barnsley-v-blackburn-upgrade-special-offer/#sthash.ugarJlyO.dpuf

This upgrade may have been better received, by season ticket holders, than a free Blackpool ticket for some of those who travelled to Charlton. Am sure some of the freebies in this offer could be done away with to make it a better proposition all round for club and fans.

    Just a thought.

Not having a go at the gesture by the way which is a big thumbs up for the club.

Cost of giving away free tickets by the club to the cost of upgrade for the fans that visited Charlton.

Cost of a free ticket is the cost of the card its printed on i.e. about 0.5p. Cost of a programme and free meal will be around a tenner. No chance the club will throw away money for a ****-up caused by Charlton.

Wouldn't work like that though I don't think.

The club would have to invest the cost of whatever the upgrade was, plus the outlay on the physical items. With a free ticket to Blackpool all the club is investing in* is paper, as there's plenty of spare seats.

    * not a dig at the club what so ever, just one reason why the costs might not add up

Costs nowt to be let in to RG suite, tour of Oakwell, use of bar and betting facilities and price of paper for a free team sheet or getting to listen to Man Of Match afterwards or does it?

The only loss would be additional staff, security, and loss of revenue from other guests for that suite - if the take up was strong.

Fair point, whats the limit on the RG Suite?

Don`t think that they all would but it would have been a way of introducing new punters to the RG and its Matchday experience and am sure bar sales would have risen and given the club more brownie points with a section of its suppliers and supporters.

    What time?

If I can get from work to Oakwell in time for this I'd be interested.

Is this available to ST holders, or is it only ST holders in BFCST?

If I haven't done his return it may turn into a BFC version of Marathon Man... I'll be the Dustin Hoffman character !

I'm not a member of the BFCST Supporters Trust Clique Action Members Trust.
I'm also not a Season Ticket holder.
I'm also not available on that evening.

Is any of this an issue?
