Well it's true in a way. It's a bit like like owing your wife or your mum £155m; they're not going to get it, or send the heavies in to demand it. It's as good as written off.
Well, unless the benefactor decides he wants some of it back. I understand what he's saying but it won't make much difference anyway when Financial Fair Play comes in - debt to the owner isn't going to be allowed to keep increasing either (beyond certain limits, which will taper down over the next few years).
