... how's it going at the half way point ? I have to say when I did it last year it was a breeze. This time not as easy though I've stuck to it so far. WHO SAYS IT MAKES YOU BAD FCUKIN' TEMPERED !!!!!
Yep I did and finding it surprisingly easy. Lost a bit of weight, not getting the @rse any more than usual, the wallet seems happier so all in a good thing. I have noticed that the 1st Feb is a Saturday though so an afternoon in the pub might be in order!
ahhhh Feb 1st... that far distant oasis of booziness ! Sheffield Wednesday away and I've got a ticket for an hospitality box with a FREE bar !!!! I may just quaff some ale that day !
finding easier than I thought i would too. went out to play poker other night and had 2 pints of diet coke . Next drink fev v hull friendly 2nd February. considering quitting drinking in the house now
Lol no means after this dry month I think I may only drink when I go out instead of drinking silly amounts of beer and wine in the house too im sure you know what I mean
Used to do it often before people started talking about it. Just a way to kick start trying to lose weight again. Not done it last couple of years because gou a mate whose birthday is 10th of Jan so been out with him. My month off the booze used to end with the Superbowl on the first Sunday in Feb and see me pretty wrecked drinking from about 8 until 3!
I've been in there a few times and it's really nice. Just don't cheer when we score - that wall behind the fans in front of the boxes isn't that big!
I've been in several times and reminded certain Wednesday fans that it is only a game. Majority of them are fine it's just the loud mouthed bags of wind that amuse me. Cheer ? I'll be standing on my chair before leading a ******* conga if, er when we score.
I'm doing it and i know gazredtyke is too. I did it last year and raised £213.00. So far got £81. Every little i can do to help rid us of the evil disease. If it means a month off the booze then so be it
