Agree, City fans proved what there about with sell out crowds in League 1 and sold out most grounds in the championship.

My grandad took me to Maine Road plenty of times, always a good atmosphere too. Most of my family watch City so always like them to do well.

 

Agree that City are and always have been a well supported club but there's no doubt that attendances have risen since the 2008 takeover (naturally). So in fact, a lot of them won't have been when they were ****.

I think that the song is not just aimed at the fans that are at the match, but to all the new fans City have magically aquired recently. The kind that watch 'their team' on the TV and say how good they are and how ***** other teams are.
