    I loved the period when Oakwell was gradually modernised bit by bit. Would regularly swing by just to see progress and felt a huge amount of pride when the East Stand went up. Still think it's one of the most pleasing on the eye two tier stands that you see.

    I remember transferring my season ticket from the Ponty to the upper tier when it was completed. After half a season with legs like Arnie after all that stair climbing and I think a midweek evening game where it seemed to "give" in the wind... I'm very glad they stopped at two!
