Missed the mid-day cut off though, so ineligible to play against us tomorrow.

Good luck to him but is this me being cynical here but think we might have made sure he missed that cut off point on purpose?

mebbi. who knows. it wouldn't surprise me if there had been one or two delaying tactics. but i reckon any club would do the same.

Obvious part of deal would have been he can't play. I'm sure that is possible in rules?

He we go, the small, but fiery albino stick with which to beat Wilson.

i don't think so, no. for loans yes, but not permanent transfers. i think the only actual rule was that the deal had to be done by midday, for him to be available for tomorrow's match....i think

why, who was offering a fee for him? so we can either keep him here on wage, not playing, and he leaves in the summer for free anyway. or we let him go for free now, and free up salary for another player. and you think that's bad management?

As usual mate, you're in a very very very tiny minority with your opinion. But thanks for sharing anyway.

most clubs put that as a clause nowadays.

that the player may not play against them in the current season.

Tyrone, thou are talking sh!te lad.

Perkins is reaching the twilight of his career, coupled with his performance that has slipped this season, at Championship level......he's worth nothing/nowt/zero/zip/etc.

I'm surprised he's back at a fellow Championship club, to be honest.

DW is creating squad space by moving on the weaker players......it's called good management, that's all, simple and good management.

    Anyway good luck lad.

Good last season but far from impressive this year

I would have thought that the club would have been doing everything possible to try to make their midfield significantly weaker by giving them a midget who cant head tackle shoot pass or run

Best of luck to him. He's not been the same player this season, but you could easily say the same for the vast majority of his teammates. He does look to have lost a yard of pace which effects his game massively. I don't know the ins and outs of it, but if it was my choice I would have kept him ahead of Dawson.

I must be in the minority , but I was hoping he was playing, it would have made our job easier knowing they were light in midfield !!! If he played like he has done at Oakwell this season anyway !

I really admire Perkins both his tenacity and his enthusiasm but I guess time catches us all and he's been a pale shadow this season.
