Was there in abundance today. Everyone apart from Shea who started the game, played to a very good level. The most pleasing thing for me was seeing O'Grady playing in and around the area, culminating in the well worked 2nd goal.
agreed. but we still backed off way too early. 'best form of defence is attack', danny said on thursday. way too del for the last 20 minutes, and better teams would have got back into it. also drives me insane, not having a man up when they have set pieces and corners.
What did he do then? because i certainly missed it. Oh i remember 1 Cruyff like turn and a poor shot, but honestly cannot remember him doing anything else.
I also thought he was good today. Direct, always looking to run at players. Each to their own I guess.
i must say, i thought he was ok, but not much more than that. i would have brought him off earlier, tbh. hopefully much more to come from him.
Yep, must say other fans around me were saying roughly the same as me, but i am often wrong! I would say however he was 10 times better than Reuben.
Mate, cheer the **** up, we've won. It's a rare old day as it is, but it's even rarer a day when every player plays out of their skin, subs included. We're usually struggling to name a man of the match. I could name a good half dozen candidates today. Be happy.
i thought mellis had a solid enough game, to be honest. there were better on the pitch, but i think he did his bit. i can't fault anyone today though. i won't mention RNL though, in case someone shouts at me...
