Fair play to the lad, had a good game today. Some good work as a pair with Jennings, going forward and in defence.
Had a good game, didn't put a foot wrong to be fair. Difficult to justify dropping him for the next game.
Everyone played well today, everyone made individual errors, but it was like we were back 12 months ago with everyone wanting to go forward with the ball. Hard to pick a man of the match it could have gone to one of haif a dozen, O`Grady seems to be back to his best and it was a delight to see him central for quite a lot of the game winning flick ons into the edge of the area in front of goal rather than in to the corner flag. Jennings was like a new player and JoB played in some excellent balls today, good all round performance lets hope we can carry it on. The yank suprised how tall he is.
One game since he signed for us, doesn't make a season. I agree he played well but he's robbed a living for the last 18 months.
I've been a big critic of his this season, but I thought he was generally decent for us last year under Flitcroft. And in the games I've seen of late, he's not been as bad as others tell me he's been in the games I've missed. If that makes any sense? Credit where it's due.
Defensively he has very little positional sense, but what I did like today was he had no hesistation in crossing the half way line and wasn`t looking all the time for an out ball square or behind. Whilst I am not a big fan of Kennedy I am also not one of those who criticises him week/day in week/day out either and today was one of his better days as a red. Lets hope he takes some confidence from that performance along with the others.
Nah I agree with you credit for today's performance because it can't be knocked, I didn't rate him last season though. He's been shocking this season two for me, can't remember another game where he has played half as well as today. Don't get me wrong, I hope he keeps it up but the jury is still out for him for me personally.
Certainly had a good game today. There were still far too many balls coming in the box from his side, but he did look more assured. I think that Jennings coming into the team made a difference, he was fantastic from start to finish, at either end and when Jennings was pushed further forward we looked a little more suspect down that side. Credit to both.
