IT`s in there somewhere, maybe a bit half heartedly.

Even so your point is valid as the posts ripping into him get significantly more replies than the ones praising him.

He did well, but was never put under sustained pressurelike we have seen in the past. I'll reserve my judgement. If he has ten good games we can say is balanced out the dross he's dished up so far.

Aye, he played better today. Though tit took a while for the back 3 to sort themselves out but when they did they looked good.

Jim O'Brien was my MOTM, but I didn't start a thread about it. In fact, I don't think there is a JOB thread at all.

Folk looking for things that aren't there. Or are, in this case.

As I said in the Kennedy thread, he deserves to play on that performance. Credit where due and all that. As is always the case.

He played fine along with everyone else, although his distribution moving forward was as poor as ever. Did his primary job properly which is defending.

He'd still have been in the "top 3" for worst performers out of the starting players for me, but the difference is that all 11 of them played to an acceptable level.

He had a good game. Not as spectacular as some of the other players, but did his job well.

Had a decent game today.........although I still believe this is a position that should look to improve, immediately.

I think he did very well today. Wriggled out of trouble well on a few occasions and often managed to pick out Jennings with his clearances, particularly in the first half. Also cut out numerous diagonal balls over the top.
