Totally unjustified comments from McNulty. As was the horrific abuse hurled at him by many members of this forum.
I can't remember this abuse? Many posters saying he was sh!te.......which is/was factually correct.......he is sh!te.
let mcnulty say what he wants,he wasn't good enough at championship level and he knows it,he was like a carthorse with ten to two feet,*****.As for wiseman, its already been said,he's tripe.. chris dagnell was a workhorse who gave it everything, with a lot more about him than either wiseman or mcnulty and after yesterday he's probably found his level and comfort zone, but same again,he was good enough when trying to get past championship defenders.Theres no comparison against the likes of Fryatt or Lita.
This business with McNulty truly makes me laugh. If the kid had the skills and ability to back up his snide, underhanded comments about the club, then fair enough. But when you're one of the worst defenders to play for the club in recent years and have ended up at one of the lowest sides in the football league then it's probably best to keep your comments to yourself.
Had a quick listen to his interview on Shakers Player. Like the bit where he's joining a 'Footballing Project'. Now where have we heard that before...?
I'd prefer any employee of Barnsley Football Club (Rick Holden, Scott Wiseman, Jim McNulty being the recent examples) and any family members keeping their gobs shut with regards to personal views & any goings on behind the scenes. It would also help if folk didn't accept their comments as absolute facts. These are simply biased opinions and, at the very least, people will only hear one side of the argument. They conveniently omit to provide any information of their own actions which could reflect badly on them.
and 'we're going to be playing football from the back, otherwise my role would be non existent'....**** me, nultenbaeur. you have to admire his confidence in his own ability. he'll probably look a world beater in league 2, but in the championship the man terrified me whenever he had the ball at his feet
Wonder what he meant by "there was all sorts going off there, I won't even comment" ? Is he suggesting that something is going off behind the scenes which has contributed to players who looked half-decent last season looking Sunday League standard at times this season?
It's interesting hearing the opinions of former employees but I'd rather they made them public five years after the event, not the day after they've left!
I'd rather they didn't air them at all. They could be talking absolute ******, they could be lying, they could be talking about people who are no longer in a position to answer back. It's one sided, cheap gossip that always paints the gossiper in a better light than their targets. These things should be kept behind closed doors and if someone has a problem with another, man up and sort it out face to face. I'm certain that these people would be outraged if the club had approached the situation in the same manner, but done it first. Thankfully, the club has kept it's dignity.
McNumpty: "I dont feel he was 100% backed when he was at Barnsley and neither do the other 437 players that he brought in. There was all sorts going on at the luxury training camps the club paid for us to regularly go to, I wont comment though as I was back at Oakwell supervising the installation of the new training pitches which the club were funding just because the manager asked for it on a whim." you useless arrogant, ignorant ******
Feels he should be playing for us in the championship, yet drps down to the bottom of league 2 to get a game. Then only because is mate is there
Jay, if you do ever get to meet him, ask if he can bring Flitcroft and I will pop over and surprise him, seeing as he wont meet me .
