    Because nobody will give a to55 if he makes a complete hash of it. We're a pretty easy target.

    surely you need more experience lower . Unless he's AWESOME. which for a referee I imagine = invisibility

    No wonder there are not enough refs coming through the system when they are instantly written-off by so many people. If you read Pierluigi Collina's autobiography you may think about refs differently. I certainly do.

    For what they have to give up (sacrifice if you like), for the abuse they have to take and then what they get paid, relative to most of the overpaid numpties on the professional fields at any rate, it's no wonder the standard of refereeing is falling. Who on earth wants to do it? I know I wouldn't.

    Actually Mark you are right. The worse referees this season have been the supposed "elite group" premier league referees.

    I could work in our favour, I mean just us a decision our way, be harsh on Blackburn,

    I wonder if they are having a similar thread on their forum ??
