I've stumbled across an artist/painter this evening, online. I say stumbled, I saw one of his paintings retweeted on twitter by a Sheff Wednesday account. The painting was of Hillsborough on matchday. My tweet said "it can't be a matchday, the ground is full". Anyway, it turns out the fella is not a Wednesdayite. He just does football art. Stadiums, crowd scenes, players etc. And he's promised to do Oakwell this year, it's been on his list apparently. I am wondering if you know of him? And what you think to his work? Nivver'eardonnim. He can do what he likes, I'm not fussed. I only painted that old view because a few folk suggested it. I wouldn't want to be doing footy grounds forever, jeezus. I'd end up cutting me ear off! Saying that, I'm just getting ready to start a very special BFC related art work!! I'm saying nowt f'narr.
